8 tippers damaged as one hits train

KEONJHAR: Eight loaded tippers were damaged after one of them rammed a stationary goods train near a railway siding in Keonjhar district.The goods train was parked on Keonjhar-Bansapani railway siding near Joda, 60 km from here, on Saturday when a manganese-laden tipper hit a railway wagon.Under its impact the tipper rebounded and on its U-turn hit seven other tippers coming from the opposite direction.All the tippers were badly damaged in the accident and reduced to a heap of mangled mass.However, no one was injured. Inquiry into the incident was on.
