Did You Know Actress Krithi Shetty Had A 'Job' When She Was 12?
Krithi Shetty started her career at the age of 16 as a student in the Hindi film Super 30 starring Hrithik Roshan.

Krithi Shetty has been going through a rough patch in her career. Most of her recent Telugu films have been washouts at the box office. She had high hopes from the Naga Chaitanya film Custody but it was also a box-office disappointment. Krithi Shetty now has her eyes set on her upcoming Tamil film Genie, Karthi26 and a Telugu film tentatively titled Sharwa35.

Krithi started her career at the very young age of 16 as a student in the Hindi film Super 30 starring Hrithik Roshan. She followed it up with her debut in a leading role in the Telugu film Uppena. Considering the young age at which she entered the world of entertainment, it probably goes without saying that the actress did not dabble in many other jobs before becoming an actress. In a recent interview, she revealed that she had a job when she was as young as 12 years old.

Krithi was speaking in jest and showing off her sense of humour. In reality, she meant to say that when she was a child, her mother used to send her to the local shop to buy grocery items for her. She calls it her first job because her mother used to pay her Rs 100-150 each time she went to the shop. Krithi considers this money as her first real earnings in her life.

Her schedule continues to be busy as she has six more films in her kitty. And her roster of co-stars includes Abhishek Bachchan, Mohanlal, Tovino Thomas, Sathyaraj, Allu Arjun, Karthi and Jayam Ravi. Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi was offered a few films where Kirthi was envisioned as the romantic lead opposite him but the actor declined the roles. He said that since he has played Krithi’s father in the Telugu film Uppena, he cannot romance her on the screen.
