How to Turn Off Google News Notifications on Android

Open the Google “News” app on your device. If you can't find it, the search for News in the search feature.

Tap on your profile icon, at the top-right corner of the app. The menu panel will show up on the bottom side of the app.

Tap on Settings. It will be the third option in the menu.

Select Notifications from the “General” section. It's located right before the “Downloading” settings.

Turn off the notifications. Toggle off the blue switch right after the “Get notifications” text. The blue switch will turn to grey after you do so. That's it!
