This wikiHow teaches you how to sing a duet with a TikTok friend when you’re using an iPhone or iPad. You can only do a duet with a friend if the user has not blocked you.
Open TikTok on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the black icon with a white music note inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.
Go to the video of the person with whom you want to create a duet. There are several ways to do this, you can scroll down your feed and find the video, or tap it on their profile.
Tap the curved "Share" arrow. It’s on the right side of the screen.
Tap Duet. It’s at the bottom-left corner of the screen. Look for a circle with two overlapping circles inside.
Record your video and tap the checkmark. Tap and hold the record button, just as you would if recording a video on your own.
Edit the video and tap Next. You can add filters and other features, if desired.
Add a caption and tap Post. Your duet is now shared.
