Covering your Eyebrows
Clean your eyebrows. Using a non-oil based cleanser or witch hazel, wipe your eyebrows using cotton rounds to remove any oils from your eyebrows and help them stay flat.
Spoolie your eyebrows. (Optional) After cleaning your eyebrows, you want to brush them up so they lie better when being glued down. This is recommended for thicker eyebrows to get maximum coverage.
Rub glue stick on your eyebrows. Rub your glue stick in the opposite direction of hair growth, to coat all the brow hairs. Then apply glue in an upward motion, since this is the direction you want the brows to be in before the next step.
Glue another layer. (Optional) Add another layer of glue to ensure the base of your layering process is as flat as possible. Spoolie the brows upwards to reinforce that shape and direction if needed. This is recommended for thicker eyebrows.
Dry and apply translucent powder. Once the glue is dried apply the translucent powder with the beauty blender, by patting it all around the sticky area, until fully covered.
Repeat the gluing and powdering steps. Glue your eyebrows up then apply translucent powder to your eyebrows until they are flat and hair is barely visible. It's recommended to repeat these steps 2-3 times or until your eyebrows feel flat and stiff. (Repeat the steps until you're satisfied with the amount of coverage).
Apply concealer. Blend your concealer on top of the covered brows and blend out until the powder isn't visible anymore. Building layers of concealer to help with coverage is recommended for thicker eyebrows.
Add more translucent powder. Apply another layer of translucent powder on top of the concealer to set the covered brows.
Removing Glue from Eyebrows
Rub oil-based makeup remover over your eyebrows. Oil-based makeup remover will loosen the glue and remove any other makeup added.
Apply oil-based makeup remover or coconut oil. To remove the rest of the glue, continue to rub oil-based remover or coconut oil over the covered eyebrows. Repeat until the glue feels gone.
Wash your face to ensure all the glue was removed. Using your everyday face cleanser will help remove makeup and glue residue.
Spoolie through eyebrows. (Optional) Run the spoolie through your eyebrows as an extra precaution from glue residue.
