Former Liverpool goalkeeper David James emerged as a villain on his Anfield return last weekend. James showed up during the half-time break to participate in a fun penalty shootout. It was part of a promotional campaign. James stepped onto the field, donning the goalkeeper’s jersey. That is when a boy came forward to take a penalty kick in front. He tried to beat James but the former England international pulled off a full-stretch dive to save it. The boy was given another opportunity to score. This time, he opted for a straight shot but James once again succeeded in saving it. The young fan was visibly disappointed as he failed to find the back of the net. Once the friendly shootout was wrapped up, James approached the young one and shared a hug with him.
