Madrid: Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has heaped praise on Mesut Ozil as he feels playing alongside the Germany international has made him a better player.
Ozil joined the Blancos from Werder Bremen in the summer of 2010 and has become an important first-team member, and Ronaldo is very pleased to have the attacking midfielder at his side at the Bernabeu.
"Yes, Mesut has made me better. If you have great players around you, your play becomes stronger," the Portugal international was quoted as saying by Kicker.
"Ozil is fantastic. He can read the game and knows when he needs to play the pass, when he should take a dribble - that's simply class."
"We have a really good connection and this is still getting better. I love to play with him, he is fantastic."
Ronaldo then discussed his personal development and stated that he still has room for improvement in certain areas of his game.
"Well, you never know your limits. And of course I can do a few things better."
Ronaldo has scored 13 goals in 11 Liga encounters in the 2011-12 campaign so far.
