The club says they "has decided to terminate the contract signed" with Sergi Guardiola, who had joined Barca B on Monday, "after confirming that he had posted offensive tweets against Barcelona and Catalonia."
Two years ago, the 24-year-old forward had posted comments hostile to Catalonia and also showing his support for Real Madrid.
Guardiola could not be reached for comment.
