Kartik Aaryan exclusively told us whether he felt handicapped in his career like his character in Chandu Champion.

The much awaited trailer of Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion is finally out. The actor along with the director of the film Kabir Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala unveiled the same in Kartik’s hometown Gwalior, amid a cheering audience. While addressing the media, Kartik Aaryan revealed whether like his character in the film, if he ever felt ‘handicapped’ at the start of his career.

Speaking exclusively with News18 Showsha, Kartik Aaryan answered, “I would use the word helpless. Sometimes it’s natural to feel helpless. And that happens with everyone in life. Everyone had their ups and downs, everyone had their struggles including myself. But if you ask if I would like to change anything about my journey, I won’t change a single thing. If given a chance, I would relive the same journey leading up to this point. I would not change a thing.”

He continued, “Yes, there were many instances when I felt helpless but I have observed my father and mother, their hardwork, their passion, their struggles. And I have learnt a lot from those things. I think there is no gain without pain. If I am standing here and If I am bringing such a fantastic movie, a lot of pain and strength has gone into making it possible. It required a lot of sacrifices which I am proud of. Helplessness occur sometimes but you have to take everything with a pinch of salt.”

The ‘Chandu Champion’ trailer is packed with emotional moments, intense action, a glimpse of an epic war sequence, and the extraordinary journey of a man who refused to give up. It offers the audience a sneak peek into the grand world of ‘Chandu Champion’ and showcases Kartik Aaryan’s remarkable transformation into a soldier, boxer, and wrestler, highlighting his unwavering dedication.

Meanwhile, the striking poster that was released earlier showed Kartik in a powerful, gritty pose. He looked lean and muscular, his body covered in mud, running with intense determination. This poster also sheds light on Kartik’s incredible physical transformation for the role. The movie is inspired by the real-life story of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar, born on November 1, 1944, in the Peth Islampur region of Sangli, Maharashtra. Petkar, an exceptional athlete, excelled in multiple sports, especially wrestling and hockey. He captioned the poster, “Champion Aa Raha Hai… Super excited and proud to share the first poster of the most challenging and special film of my career.”

Chandu Champion is the first time Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan are working together, and their second film with Sajid Nadiadwala after the hit Satyaprem Ki Katha. The movie showcases beautiful locations in the United Kingdom. Filming took place at the London Aquatics Centre, known for the 2012 Olympic swimming events, Kew Gardens, featured in the historical drama Queen Charlotte, and Syon Park, a historic aristocratic estate in London.
