Satavahana University has initiated the registration process for the Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET) 2024 from March 14. Candidates who are interested and eligible can complete the application for TS PECET 2024 via the official website, pecet.tsche.ac.in.
The deadline for submission of online registrations without incurring a late fee is March 15, 2024. However, for those submitting their registrations after this date, there is an option available until May 25, 2024, by paying a late fee of Rs 500. Further extension is granted until May 31, 2024, for submissions with a late fee of Rs 2,000. The Physical and Skill Tests are scheduled to be held at Satavahana University, Karimnagar, from June 10 to 13, 2024.
TS PECET 2024 Eligibility criteria:
For BPEd: Candidates must have either appeared for or passed a three-year degree examination acknowledged by any university within Telangana state or any other institution recognised as equivalent. Additionally, candidates must be 19 years old as of July 1, 2024.
For DPEd: Candidates must have either appeared for or passed the Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the government of Telangana state. Moreover, candidates should have attained the age of 16 years as of July 1, 2024.

Step 1: Go to the official website of TS PECET
Step 2: On the main page, click on the registration link.
Step 3: As the new page opens, fill up the application form. Upload the required documents.
Step 4: Pay the application fees.
Step 5: Keep a printout of the TS PECET 2024 acknowledgment form for future reference.
TS PECET 2024 Application Fees:
Candidates from the general category are required to submit an application fee of Rs 900. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, on the other hand, are obligated to pay an application fee of Rs 500.
TS PECET 2024 Selection Process:
The Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission to B.P.Ed (Two years) and D.P.Ed. (Two years) programs across Telangana state for the academic session 2024-25. The tests will be conducted according to the following criteria:
Physical Efficiency Tests: Each event carries a maximum of 100 marks. Marks will be awarded based on approved conversion tables by the TS PECET Committee.
For men, the compulsory events (with no options) consist of the 100-meter run, 800-meter run, shot put (6 Kg), and either a long jump or a high jump.
For women, the compulsory events (with no options) include the 100-meter run, 400-meter run, shot put (4 Kg), and either a long jump or a high jump. It’s important to note that pregnant women are not allowed to participate in these tough physical efficiency tests.
Skills Tests: Each event is also allotted a maximum of 100 marks. Marks will be awarded by subject experts. Both men and women are required to select one sport from the following options: Ball badminton, basketball, cricket, football, handball, hockey, kabaddi, kho-kho, shuttle badminton, lawn tennis, and volleyball.
