Naval Ship Repair Yard Kochi Jobs 2024: Applications Open For 240 Apprentice Posts

Naval Ship Repair Yard (NSRY) and Naval Aircraft Yard (NAY) Kochi are inviting applications for apprenticeships for several trades. It has released a total vacancy of 240 posts across different trades including Computer Operation of Programming Assistant (COPA), Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter and others. Interested candidates can download the application form through the official website of the Indian Navy–https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/. The last date to submit the application form is September 19. The selected candidate will be able to work under the Indian Navy. Matric pass students can also apply for the job provided they have an ITI certificate in the required course.

The apprenticeship vacancy at NSRY and NAY, Kochi is available for these trades – Computer Operation of Programming Assistant (COPA), Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Mechanic Refrigerator & AC, Turner, Welder, Instrument Mechanic, Sheet Metal Worker, Secretariat Assistant, Electroplater, Plumber, Diesel Mechanic, Shipwright (Wood), Painter, Foundryman, Machinist (Grinder), Mechanic Auto Electrical Electronic and Draughtsman (Civil & Mechanical).

Step 3: Register yourself through basic contact information if required

Step 4: Access the application form with the registered ID and password

The maximum age limit for this apprenticeship recruitment is 21 years. SC / ST will get five years of relaxation, whereas the OBC category candidates will get three years for the same.

To become eligible, candidates must have passed Class 10 with at least 50 percent marks and ITI in required trade with a minimum aggregate of over 65 percent marks.

The application form should be sent by post to Naval Ship Repair Yard, Naval Base, Kochi- 682004 before the deadline. Along with the application form, the candidate must send their three latest passport-size photographs, attested photocopies of education certificates, PAN card, ITI marksheet, and photocopies of Aadhar card.

Under this Apprenticeship, the candidates will be trained by the Navy officials. Based on training, the candidates will be hired in the Indian Navy.
