The selection procedure for Kolkata Police constables includes a preliminary written test, which serves as an initial evaluation exam, subsequently followed by the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), final written examination, and interview round. The initial written exam will be worth a total of 100 marks and will last for one hour. General awareness, mathematics, and reasoning are the three sections that make up this exam.
Kolkata Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
For candidates from all categories except Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (limited to West Bengal), the application fee is set at Rs. 170. If applying under the Scheduled Caste category from West Bengal, the fee is reduced to Rs. 20. Similarly, for applicants belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category from West Bengal, the fee is also Rs. 20.
