The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has begun accepting online applications from competent applicants for the Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination (CCE 2023). The deadline for candidates to send in applications is March 10. Those who have successfully qualified for the Main exam may apply online at jkpsc.nic.in, the official website.
The CCE Main Exam 2023 schedule has been announced on the website. The JKPSC CCE Main 2023 exam is set to be held from March 26, 2024, to April 3, 2024. Jammu and Srinagar will host the exam. In total, 2256 individuals were deemed qualified in the preliminary exam and are expected to appear for the Main exam.
JKPSC CCE 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria to be considered for the position. candidates are required to have successfully cleared the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination conducted in 2023. Additionally, they must be domiciles of the Union Territory of J&K. Lastly, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University in India or a Foreign University recognised by the Government in consultation with the Commission as equivalent to a degree from a recognised University.
JKPSC CCE 2023: Vacancy Details
The recruitment campaign aims to occupy a total of 75 positions, distributed across three categories. Specifically, there are 25 vacancies in the J&K Administrative Service Junior Scale, another 25 in the J&K Accounts (G) Service, and an additional 25 in the J&K Police (G) Service.

Candidates falling under the general category are required to submit an application fee of Rs 1000, whereas those in the reserved category are expected to pay a reduced fee of Rs 500.
JKPSC CCE 2023: Salary
The vacancies for Junior Scale positions in the J&K Administrative Service, J&K Police (G) Service, and J&K Accounts (G) Service have been announced, featuring a salary bracket of Rs. 9,300-34,800, along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800. It’s worth noting that the Grade Pay has been revised to Level 8, which corresponds to a new salary range of Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100.
