The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) recently released the official notification for the Himachal Pradesh School Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET). All interested candidates can now apply for JB TET, Shastri TET, TGT (Non-Medical) TET, TGT (Medical) TET, TGT (Arts) TET, Urdu TET, and Punjabi TET from the official website at hpbose.org The last day to apply is May 28th.
The HP TET exams will be conducted in offline mode i.e. pen- paper mode starting from June 22 to July 2, 2024.
Exam Schedule: Date, Time, and Duration
The JBT TET and Shastri TBT will be conducted on June 22 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM and 2 PM to 4:30 PM. Additionally, TGT (Non-medical) TET and Language Teacher TET will be held on June 23 from 10 AM TO 12:30 PM and 2 PM to 4:30 PM.
The TGT (Arts) TET, and TGT (Medical) TET will be conducted on June 30 at the same time, while Punjabi TET and Urdu TET will be conducted on July 2.
What is the Eligibility Criteria?
The candidates should be 18 years or above. There’s no maximum age limit. However, educational qualifications are different for each post. For detailed information, students are advised to check the official website of HPBOSE.
Application Fee?
To apply for the given posts, all the General category students need to deposit a fee of Rs 800 at the time of registration. While for other categories like Scheduled Cast (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes, the application fee is Rs 500.
How to Apply? Follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education at hpbose.org.
Step 2: On the homepage, search for the HP TET 2024 New Registration tab or something similar and click on it.
Step 3: Enter the required details carefully and click Proceed.
Step 4: Upon proceeding, a confirmation E-Mail to the registered mail ID will be sent with login credentials.
Step 5: Log in to the portal using the credentials sent on the Email.
Step 6: The Application form will appear on the screen. Fill in all the information carefully, upload the required documents, and deposit the fee.
Step 7: Submit the application form. Download it and take a printout on an A4-sized sheet of paper for future reference.
