The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the exam city intimation slips for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 examination to be held this month. The examination will take place on January 21, 2024. Candidates who registered for the examination can download the city intimation slip from the official website at ctet.nic.in. CBSE will release the CTET 2024 admit card a few days before the exam.

How To Get the CBSE CTET 2024 Exam City Slip?

Step 1: Log in to the official website at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Open the link that says CTET January 2024 exam city slip on the home page.

Step 3: Log in using your application number and date of birth.

step 4: Check out and save the CTET 2024 exam city slip.

The CTET 2024 exam will be held in two shifts. Each shift will no longer be two hours and thirty minutes long. The first shift will begin at 9:30 am. and end at noon. The second shift will begin at 2:30 pm and end at 5 pm. It is recommended that applicants arrive at the exam centre 120 minutes before the exam begins.

The CBSE will distribute the admit cards for the 18th CTET on January 19, 2024. Candidates will be able to access their admit cards on the ctet.nic.in by entering their application number and date of birth.

The CTET 2024 admit card will include the following details: name of the applicant, photograph of the applicant, signature, candidate’s category, name of the exam, date of the exam, exam timings, address of the exam centre, and instructions for the mentioned exam.

CTET 2024 papers will have multiple-choice questions (MCQ) with four choices. There will be no negative marking, and each correct answer will receive one point. CTET will be divided into two papers. Paper 1 will be held for people who aspire to be teachers in grades 1 through 5. Paper 2 on the other hand, will be for individuals who want to teach classes 6 through 8.

For registering for the CTET Paper I or Paper II examination, aspirants have to pay a fee of Rs 1000 for General, OBC (NCL) applicants. Furthermore, for those applying for both Paper 1 and Paper II, a fee of Rs 1200 had to be submitted. The CTET examination fee was Rs 500 for Paper I or Paper II only for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. When those applying for both Paper I and Paper II had to pay Rs 600 in examination fees.
