The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) recently declared the results for the 68th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE). As per the commission, 812 of the 867 Mains-qualified candidates had appeared for the interview. A total of 322 candidates qualified for the interview round, while Patna’s Priyanka Mehta topped the examination.
However, BPSC has now informed the candidates about a mistake in the results on its official website.
In a notice, BPSC stated that instead of Nidhi Singh (455194), the name of Kumari Vidya Kripa Murthy (358577) was included in the list. However, the commission has now cancelled Murthy’s name from the list. Murthy, who got the 461st rank, was given the post of Block SC and ST Welfare Officer.
Due to this, changes have been made in the previously allotted service or post of several candidates. BPSC has now shared a list of 17 candidates, mentioning the departments allotted to them.
The BPSC conducted interviews for the 68th Combined Competitive Examination from January 8 to January 15 in two shifts — 9.30 am and 2:00 pm.
Over 3,500 applicants had appeared in the 68th Mains examination. The results for the 68th CCE exams were announced on Monday (January 15).
Among those who have cleared the Mains exam, 400 were from the unreserved category, 76 from EWS category, 120 from SC, 13 from ST, 122 from EBC, 120 from BC, and 16 were BC Women candidates.
For further information related to the examination, candidates are advised to visit the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
