Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah was bowling rockets in the nets during a training session ahead of India’s first match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Super Eight stage.
Bumrah has been vital to India’s progress into the second round of the world cup as he produced two player-of-the-match winning performances in the first stage.
Having delivered consistently for the team, expectations are going to be high from the pacer in India’s upcoming matches in the Caribbean.

A day ahead of the Rohit Sharma-led side’s Super Eight fixture against Afghanistan, Bumrah shared a video from one of his practice sessions on Instagram.
In the clip, the star pacer can be seen bowling in the nets besides also taking part in a fielding drill.

The video begins with Bumrah arriving at the training facility with a pair of headphones and a backpack.
Apar from bowling, the 30-year-old was also seen doing some catch practice with his teammates.
In one moment, he was also spotted having a word with his teammate Rinku Singh. An impressed Suryakumar Yadav couldn’t help but comment, “Boom boom Bumrahhhhhhhh.”
Several users also lauded the bowler’s work ethic as they poured their love into the comments section.
One of them wrote, “Jasprit Bumrah after comeback, passion, class.”
Another wrote, “Unpopular opinion: Bro is the best baller of our era”.
One jokingly said, “Me – Alexa play Jasprit Bumrah. Alexa – Jasprit Bumrah is unplayable.”
This one declared “Bumrah, the king of bowling”.
“Best bowler in the world and of all time Jasprit Bumrah sir,” wrote another.
Bumrah recently put up a show-stopping performance against Pakistan. The Indian pacer took three important scalps to rescue a nearly-lost game for the Men in Blue. Having dismissed players like Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed, Bumrah led India to a narrow 6-run victory.
As for his overall performance in the tournament, Bumrah will be heading into the Super Eight stage with five wickets from three matches. He began his campaign with two wickets in a dominant win over Ireland.
Against USA though the Gujarat-born speedster was unable to take any wicket but still maintained his economy with 25 runs in four overs.
