South Africa will be eyeing to end their first round on a winning note when they face Nepal. The Proteas have quite impressive in their group with three wins from as many games.
They last faced a Najmul Shanto Hossain-led Bangladesh side and pulled off a narrow victory over the Asian side, recording a four-run win.
South Africa were struggling after losing four wickets by the fifth over while batting first. A 46-run knock from Heinrich Klaasen helped the side reach 113 runs. South Africa bowling trio of Anrich Nortje, Keshav Maharaj and Kagiso Rabada then put up a superb show in defending the low total.
Bangladesh ran out of deliveries to finish at 109/7. The Proteas will now look to make it four out of four.
South Africa and Nepal will go head-to-head at the Arnos Vale Stadium.
Nepal are yet to win a match at the ongoing T20 World Cup. They suffered a loss against the Netherlands to begin their campaign before getting their first point against Sri Lanka after the match was abandoned. Given their tournament run, a win versus South Africa seems unlikely.
