Hardik was busy with his on-field duties throughout the last month so it was quite an emotional homecoming for India’s star all-rounder.

Having reached home, he shared a couple of pictures of his heartwarming interaction with his son .

“My #1! Everything I do, I do for you,” read the post shared by the Indian all-rounder on social media.

The post went viral on social media with users showering praise on the father-son duo.

“What a beautiful reaction father and son,” read one response.

Taking note of the Indian all-rounder’s contributions, another social media user commented, “Hardik Pandya You deserve grand salute for what you did for team. Facing difficult time in last 6 months, what a comeback.”

“Wishing you lots of such moments ahead. Also, I hope everything gets well super soon. You deserve nothing apart from happiness and success,” wrote another.

Pandya was instrumental with the ball in the T20 World Cup final against South Africa. Following his game-changing performance against the Proteas, he was seen shedding tears of joy while celebrating the World Cup triumph in Barbados.

Pandya’s elder brother Krunal recently broke his silence on the trolling that the Mumbai Indians skipper was subjected to during IPL 2024.

Penning an emotional note, Krunal wrote, “It’s almost been a decade since Hardik and I started playing professional cricket. And the last few days have been like a fairy tale that we’ve dreamt off. Like every countryman I’ve lived this through our teams heroics and I couldn’t be more emotional with my brother being at the heart of it.”

“The last six months have been the toughest for Hardik. He simply didn’t deserve what he went through, and as a brother, I felt very, very bad for him. From booing, to people saying all kinds of nasty things, at the end of the day, we all forgot that he is just a human being who also has emotions. He somehow passed through all of this with a smile, though I know how hard it was for him to put on a smile. He kept working hard and focusing on what he needed to do to get the World Cup since that was his ultimate objective,” he added.

Pandya’s spectacular performances at the T20 World Cup helped him become the number one-ranked all-rounder. He ended the tournament having scored 144 runs at a strike-rate of over 150 besides taking 11 wickets too.
