Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up for the release of his new film Leo, for which the fans are patiently waiting with bated breath. According to reports, Vijay’s fans held a Pooja event for the success of the film.
The reports state that Thalapathy Vijay’s fans have performed pooja for the success of Leo. It was held at the Tiruchendur Murugan temple, in Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu. Thalapathy’s fans brought the banner of the film to the pooja, which was a source of amazement for the devotees visiting the temple.
In another news, a few days back, reports came that Thalapathy’s fans had destroyed a theatre when the trailer of the film was screened in the hall. The theatre is called Rohini Theater which is in Chennai. Fans came in hundreds to experience the release of their favourite actor on the big screen. Videos of the event went viral on social media. It showed the fans dancing and celebrating the release. But the aftermath showed that the seats were destroyed.
Manobala Vijayabalan, a trade expert shared pictures, and a video on X showing the destruction. The tweet that was attached with the pictures read, “Rohini Cinemas completely thrashed by Joseph Vijay fans after #LeoTrailer screening.”

The pictures show the hall in a big mess, where some seats are destroyed or were torn apart. According to more reports, earlier that day some pictures showed the fans outside, waiting for the theatre to open. Another video taken from within the theatre, showed the fans cheering for the superstar.
Leo is going to be released this week on October 19. The director of the film is Lokesh Kanagaraj, and it is being produced by S S Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy. The cast of the film includes Thalapathy Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Priya Anand. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. As per the reports, the film is made under a budget of Rs 250 to Rs 300 crore.
