Sports and Youth Affairs Minister of Tamil Nadu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, on Sunday refused to entertain media on questions about viral pictures of his son with his girlfriend.
The photographs of Inbanithi and his girl friend had gone viral on social media in January but Udhayanidhi had not responded to it. However, his wife Krithika Udhayanidhi had tweeted, stating that there was no taboo on loving and expressing it.
Now, during an interview with a couple of Tamil YouTube channels, Udhayanidhi Stalin addressed the matter and said his son has his own personal space and these attacks are bound to happen since he hails from a political family.
“He is 18 years old, an adult. It’s his personal life. I don’t wish to disclose other things between him and us as parents. He being a part of such a family, these kinds of accusations and trolls will come his way,” an Indian Express quoted Udhayanidhi Stalin’s comments from the interview.
“He will handle these things if he has enough maturity. It’s his personal life; even I don’t wish to interfere beyond a point. It’s his freedom,” Stalin said.
Udhayanidhi Stalin also said that he can’t reveal what was being discussed between him, his wife, and son.
