Vijay Mallya said a comprehensive salary settlement plan would be announced in a few days.
New Delhi: Kingfisher Group chairman Vijay Mallya on Thursday met pilots in New Delhi in an effort to resolve the salary payments issue. According to him, an amicable solution has been reached and the pilots will return to work.
However, addressing a press conference, the UB Group chairman refused to divulge more details.
Mallya said a comprehensive salary settlement plan would be announced in a few days, but the first priority is to pay junior staff members.
This came a day after Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh on Wednesday reiterated that the government would not bail out Kingfisher. Aviation watchdog Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has said that Kingfisher is still flouting rules and may face action.
