New Delhi: India's largest private airline Jet Airways has introduced special fares and benefits for women travellers, flying in the month of March, to mark the International Women's Day.
Effective from March 1 to March 10, Jet Airways would be giving 10 per cent discount on the base domestic fare and five per cent on base international fares to every group which has at least one woman traveller and makes a booking on the airline's website, the airlines said in a statement. The International Women's Day is being observed on March 8.
"Women travellers, besides being a prominent and growing customer demographic, have also been among Jet Airways most loyal customers.
"These new offers, targeted at our lady guests on the occasion of International Women s Day, are an attempt to express our appreciation for their support and we are confident that they will prove extremely popular," Nikos Kardassis, CEO, Jet Airways said.
It is a part of the airline's JetViva initiative, under which the benefits would be available for First Class, Premiere or Economy for travel on all routes operated by Jet Airways or Jet Airways Konnect.
JetViva is Jet Airways' recently introduced exclusive programme for women-on-the-move, through which they receive exclusive offers, customised events and promotions every quarter.
