On the auspicious occasion of Ram Mandir’s inauguration ceremony, many celebrities were seen attending it. Dhanush was also among them. But he was mobbed by eager fans as he left the ceremony in Ayodhya. The video has gone viral on social media. Security was seen helping him to navigate the crowd.

In the video, shared by Snehzala, we can see Dhanush walking outside the temple with police personnel around him. The actor is seen wearing a brown colour kurta and walking toward his car. Fans are trying to take selfies with him but the actor tries to rush. Earlier, Rajinikanth was also seen attending the ceremony. Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, and others were also spotted at the temple.

For the unversed, Pran Pratishtha is a popular ritual in Jainism and Hinduism, where the idol of a deity is installed at a sacred place like a temple, after sanctification. The word ‘Pran’ means life force and ‘Pratishtha’ means establishment. Pran Pratishtha or consecration ceremony means invoking the life force in the idol.

A total of 121 Acharyas will perform the rituals of Ram Mandir consecration. The idol’s Pran Pratistha will be done during the auspicious ‘Abhijeet Muhurta’ from 12.20 pm to 1 pm on January 22. According to the temple trust, over 7,000 people have been invited for this occasion where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest.
