Tukali Santhosh's Wife Reveals Story Behind His Gold Locket, Says 'He's A Hi-tech Beggar'

The friendship between Varthur Santhosh and Tukali Santhosh became widely known during their time in Bigg Boss Kannada 10. Following the conclusion of the reality show, Varthur Santhosh generously gifted a few things to Tukali Santhosh to celebrate their friendship.

Initially, he greeted Tukali with a Mysore turban and a garland, followed by the presentation of a gold locket as a symbol of their friendship. What intrigued netizens was the inscription on the locket, which proudly displayed the title bestowed upon their bond by Bigg Boss: Santhu-Panthu. However, the origin of the chain remains a mystery. Tukali Santhosh’s wife Manasa unveiled the details, sparking widespread interest which has gone viral.

During their appearance on the Gicchi Gili Gili show, Manasa described Santhosh as a “hi-tech beggar”. She humorously remarked that while other beggars might ask for small amounts like one or two rupees, Santhosh asks for gold and silver.

Manasa also shared that Santhosh was gifted a locket by a producer. When the locket was given, Santhosh initially carried it in his pocket instead of wearing it around his neck. When questioned by the producer about it, he showed the slightly bent locket by keeping it in his pocket. The producer shared that it should be worn around the neck and promptly attached with a chain to accompany it. Tukali Santhosh clarified that the producer gifted the chain as a gesture of friendship between them. But Santhosh leaves the locket at home instead of wearing it because Manasa said that someone asked Santhosh to donate the locket.

In 2021, Tukali Santhosh featured in the Kannada films KTM and Chi Tu Yuvakara Sangha. Additionally, he appeared in the Comedy Kannada reality show Khiladigalu in the same year. His notable participation in the Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 in October 2023 garnered significant attention and made headlines.

Tukali Santhosh made it to the top 5 in Bigg Boss Kannada 10. The season premiered on October 8, 2023, on Colors Kannada, with superstar Kiccha Sudeep reprising his role as the host for the tenth consecutive season. Karthik Mahesh emerged as the winner of the season, while Drone Pratap secured the first runner-up position. The show was also accessible for streaming on the OTT platform JioCinema. According to reports, the season garnered a TRP of 7.9 across Karnataka, marking a significant milestone for the show.
