Singer Mangli, who is popular for her traditional Banjara attire and Telugu songs at events in India and abroad, is currently making headlines. Recently, rumours that Mangli is all set to tie the knot soon are doing the rounds. Reports suggest that Mangli’s beau is not a singer or an actor. Both her and her partner’s family are in talks regarding their wedding, as per reports. There is no official confirmation about the same. Mangli is not yet ready to react to her wedding rumours. Her fans are eagerly waiting for more updates on this.
Mangli is currently working with a Telugu-language web channel, Mic TV. She is featured in popular video songs for special occasions like Bathukamma, Bonalu, Sankranthi, Telangana Formation Day, Ugadhi, Sammakka Sarakka Jatara, and more.
Mangli was born in a Banjara community. Her mother tongue is Lambadi. Her father encouraged her to become a singer at a very young age. Mangli moved to Hyderabad and Bengaluru to begin a career in anchoring. She got her first break in her career in 2013. She got an invitation as a guest artist on the Telugu News channel V6 News for a Dasara festival special show titled Dhoom Dham. Since then, she has never looked back.
Mangli also has a younger sister named Indravathi Chauhan, who became famous after appearing in the hit song Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava from the movie Pushpa: The Rise. While the song was dubbed in Kannada, Mangli sang the Kannada lyrics for the dubbed version and came into the limelight.
In February 2018, she also competed on a show hosted by Lakshmi Manchu. In 2021, Mangli’s song Saranga Dariya from the film Love Story became widely popular, and she received immense recognition for it.
Apart from singing, she also worked in films. Mangli made her acting debut in 2020 with the film Swecha. Later, she also worked in films like Guvva Gorinka and Maestro. She recently lent her voice to Chiranjeevi-starrer Bholaa Shankar’s song Jam Jam Jajjanaka, which received immense appreciation from her fans.
