The premium car maker Morris Garage (MG) is gearing up to improve its EV range in India. The company is all set to release a third product in the market, allowing the customers to have a wider choice in the segment.
It has been reported that the upcoming EV will be based on a fully electric Wuling Cloud. Ahead of the official launch, the battery-powered vehicle has been spied on during the testing phase. Despite being fully covered in heavy camouflage, some important aspects and key features have been revealed on the internet.
Overall Size
It has been reported that the electric compact MPV is expected to hit the market with a decent size, measuring 1,850 mm in width, 4,295 mm in length, and 1,652 mm in height. The car will likely accommodate up to 5 people, allowing them to have a smooth driving expirence.
Top Highlights
Going by the leaked images, it seems like the car will come with LED treatments at both ends, featuring sleek DRLs with a trending connected taillight bar. The EV also features a high roofline, complimented by flush-fitting door handles, making it look more futuristic.
Sides and Interior Details
On the side, the vehicle might get a heavy cladding treatment. However, the related detail is not confirmed yet. Jumping inside, spy images suggested a 3-spoke steering wheel and a robust 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, housed by the large floating touchscreen infotainment system.
Battery and Range
Under the hood, the Cloud EV is expected to come in two battery options, similar to overseas models. It is likely to be powered by a 37.9 kWh and 50.6 kWh battery setup. These units will offer an expected range of around 360 km to 460 km respectively on a single charge.
