In a move to improve the EV lineup globally, the top player in the auto industry, Skoda has revealed an upcoming e-SUV in concept avatar. The company has named the vehicle ‘Epiq’, which is expected to go into production around 2025.
It has been reported that the battery-powered SUV will replace the Kamiq and VW T-Cross. The company has not disclosed the battery-related details as yet. However, official images, showcasing design elements have been shared.
Skoda Epiq Concept Design
Going by the shared images, the Skoda Kamiq concept looks quite aggressive, featuring a bold stance from the outside. It gets a fully LED headlight setup, paired with V-shaped LED DRLs, complemented by the unique style of eight vertical air dams at the front. Moving at the back, the section also has been given the whole LED treatment, with the same air dams as the front with T-shaped taillamps.
Interior Details
When it comes to interior details, it has been kept as minimalistic as it could be. The sleek cabin, multi-functional steering wheel with Skoda’s badging on top, ambient lighting, soft touch material on the dashboard, and advanced touchscreen system with all wireless car connect technology, are what make it unique in itself.
Range and Space
As per the details shared by Skoda, the Epiq concept comes with a massive space of 490 litres, 20 percent larger compared to the Kamiq. It has been claimed by the brand that the vehicle has a maximum range of 400 km on full top-up. The other specs have been kept under black curtains.
