There were rumours that Toyota will unveil the all-new Innova on November 23, 2015. However the manufacturer has quietly slipped in details and images of the MPV on its Indonesian website. This is no facelift and the MPV is all-new with a new design, new set of engines, transmissions and features. The new Toyota Innova will be in India next year and the company could showcase it at the 2016 Auto Expo as well. Here is a look into the changes in the new Toyota Innova.
An all-new design inspired from the Hilux pickup makes its debut in the 2016 Toyota Innova.
The new Innova is longer, wider and taller than the outgoing car.
The tail lamps of the Innova are also new and are now LED in.
Projector headlamps are now available with the Toyota Innova as are DRLs.
The captain seats tumble forward to give access to the last row with the flick of a lever.
The new diesel engine also gets the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Innova’s dashboard now looks new and also hosts a touchscreen infotainment system.
The flip type tray behind the driver and front seat passenger looks of high quality and can hold your average size plate and a soft drink.
The diesel trims get curtain airbags apart from the front dual ones that come in as standard.
