Renault will debut the most recent version of the Duster Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) on November 29, 2023.
The SUV is set to return in response to the rising demand for SUVs in India, having been removed from the market despite its past success. An image of the next Renault Duster from the new generation has been leaked online, revealing the car’s shape. While the compact SUV still resembles the original Duster, it now has a more sleek and sophisticated appearance, reports add.
The latest generation Renault Duster reportedly has a unique design that differs greatly from the earlier edition. Nonetheless, several design aspects from the original model have been carried over to the current generation edition. In India, Renault’s new Duster will face competition from competitor models including the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Nexon, and others.
New Renault Duster SUV: Design
The new Renault Duster features an entirely new look that is markedly different from the first model of the SUV. Some design influences from the original model, however, have been carried over into the next-generation version. New horizontal LED headlights, a new radiator grille, and a revised bumper with updated air intakes are among the alterations made to the new Duster.
More muscle and wrinkles have been added to the side profile. The new Duster features new Y-shaped light clusters and a sloping rear window with a spoiler at the back.
New Renault Duster SUV: Interior And CMF-B Platform
The inside of the new Renault Duster will also be extensively modified. Among other things, the SUV will get fresh upholstery and a reworked dashboard. Expect the new Duster to include amenities such as a bigger touchscreen infotainment system measuring no less than eight inches, a completely digital driver display, a panoramic sunroof, automated temperature control, a wireless charger for mobile devices, and wireless networking, among others.
The renowned CMF-B platform of the French automaker will serve as the foundation for the next Duster SUV. This same chassis is also used by the French automaker for their electric vehicles. Accordingly, the new Renault Duster may be offered in both hybrid and compressed natural gas (CNG) models, as well as one powered by an internal combustion engine. Renault can potentially choose to produce an electric Duster thanks to the CMF-B platform.
New Renault Duster SUV: Engine
The new Renault Duster is likely to include petrol and hybrid engine choices. The carmaker may include a 1.2-liter mild-hybrid unit capable of producing roughly 130 bhp peak power, as well as a 1.6-litre hybrid engine capable of producing 140 bhp peak power.
