The homegrown four-wheeler manufacturer Mahindra is gearing up to boost the EV lineup in India. To offer a wide range of products in the coming years, the company has filed trademark for EVs. The list of names includes 1XO, 3XO, 5XO, and 7XO.
It has been reported, that above mentioned names are likely to be used in the upcoming e-SUV. All of them are expected to be based on the latest INGLO platform, offering good-built quality and reliability to the customers.
Mahindra EV Range for Future
Going by the filed trademark, it seems like the brand did not even bother to go for something unique as it has kept a similar identity to the model, keeping the signature X factor in the entire range.
XUV.e8 Launch?
Amid this, as a part of the company’s EV expansion plan for EVs, Mahindra has already unveiled some future products including XUV.e8, XUV.e9, BE.05, BE.07, and BE.09. Out of all, there is a high chance that XUV.e8 will arrive in India initially. The e-SUV might make a debut by the end of this year. Again! an official announcement about the same is yet to be shared by the brand.
Spied on Chennai-Bengaluru highway
Ahead of the official release, the vehicle already has been spied on during the testing phase, roaming on the Chennai-Bengaluru highway. Despite being fully covered in heavy camouflage, the vehicle somehow revealed an overall design structure, hinting about how it will look in the future.
Key Features
It was spotted having a fully LED headlight setup at the front, treated with typical trending LED connecting DRLs. It also showed automatic black finish ORVMs with integrated indicators.
