Chennai: North-bound Trains To Be Diverted Due to Track Renewal Work
It has been notified that the suburban trains have been given adjusted schedules due to the ongoing engineering work.

As the South Central Railway is witnessing track renewal work on the Guntur – Krishna Canal section, some of the trains have been impacted, and put on diverted route.

It has been reported that the train no. 12077, Vijayawada Jan Shatabdi Express, leaving from MGR Chennai Central at 7.25 am, has been diverted. The train will run via Tenali, Duggirala and Krishna Canal, and will skip the halt at New Guntur. This will remain unchanged from April 10-30.

Shri Vaishno Devi Katra Andaman Express

The train no. 16031, Shri Vaishno Devi Katra Andaman Express, leaving Dr MGR Chennai Central at 5.15 am, also has been diverted. The train will run via Tenali, Duggirala and Krishna Canal. It will skip the stopping point at New Guntur from April 10-28.

Lucknow Jn Express

When it comes to the train no. No 16093, Lucknow Jn Express, leaving at 5.15 am from MGR Chennai Central, also has been redirected. It will now operate via Tenali, Duggirala and Krishna Canal. The train will skip the halt point point at New Guntur. This will continue from April 13-30.

Suburban trains

Meanwhile, it has been notified that the suburban trains have been given adjusted schedules due to the ongoing engineering work. It has been reported that Moore Market Complex Arakkonam EMU local trains will run faster on April 10 and 11.
