Khalistani Funding For AAP? Pictures of Top Party Leaders With BKI Terrorists Surface
According to sources, the BKI donated over USD 5 million to the AAP. Against this funding, they demanded not to arrest Khalistan Referendum Voter Registration Activists.

In what could spell more trouble for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), another set of pictures of the party’s top leadership with Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorists has surfaced. Sources have said that AAP was trying for a deal against funding in Canada. CNN-News18 has accessed exclusive details of the deal.

Sources told CNN-News18 that Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan met BKI leaders in Canada. Sandhwan met BKI leader Harjeet Singh Bajwa in Canada. According to eye witnesses, later Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal addressed them over the phone. The meeting took place in September 2022 in Montreal, Canada.

According to sources, the BKI donated over USD 5 million to the AAP. Against this funding, they demanded not to arrest Khalistan Referendum Voter Registration Activists.

Who is Harjeet Singh Bajwa?

Bajwa is a known Khalistani leader in Canada and openly propagates Khalistani ideology. He also incites Sikhs into demanding a separate nation, Khalistan.

CNN-News18 is also in possession of a video of Bajwa from August 15, 2022, where he was seen raising ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ slogans in front of the Indian Consulate. The crowd present there also burnt the Indian National flag in his presence.

AAP’s Khalistani Funding Claims

CNN-News18 was the first to report on AAP foreign funding, following which a case was registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Earler, SFJ founder Gurpatwant Singh Pannun had purportedly alleged in a video that Khalistani groups gave USD 16 million (approximately Rs 133.54 crore) to Kejriwal’s AAP to fund elections between 2014 and 2022. He had claimed that the Delhi CM made a shocking proposition in 2014 to release convicted terrorist Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar in exchange for financial support. Bhullar was involved in the 1993 Delhi bomb blast that killed nine people and injured 31 others.

Sources had told CNN-News18 that according to Pannun, Kejriwal used to run three teams and was the kingpin of the funding exercise. Team 1 purportedly comprised Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann and erstwhile AAP leader Gurpreet Ghuggi.

Ghuggi had allegedly met Babbar Khalsa International operative Rajinder Singh who was a close associate of the outfit’s head Wadhawa Singh Babbar. They discussed financial support in lieu of foreign BKI operatives being helped to go back to India, according to Pannun. Bhagwant Mann was an MP and at the time and AAP leader Sanjay Singh was incharge of Punjab. Singh was also brought on the phone to assure support, said Pannun.

Team 2 allegedly comprised Mann and erstwhile AAP leader Sukhpal Khaira. Khaira stated that his father was the first to give a call for Khalistan and AAP and Kejriwal personally assured support, said the sources.

Team 3 allegedly had Bhagwant Mann, AAP Rajya Sabha member Sandeep Pathak, erstwhile AAP leader Kumar Vishwas, as well as IIT alumni contacts of Kejriwal.

According to top intelligence sources, the NIA will be asked to probe all these angles. “This is too early to conclude the role of individuals but these are serious allegations and proper investigation is important,” a source said. According to sources, the NIA will soon file an FIR in the matter after receiving a reference from the Centre.
