'Things to Avoid in Delhi': Singapore Women Scammed By Taxi, Rickshaw Drivers Share Tips in Viral Reel
The viral Instagram reel features a Singapore vlogger sharing three tips that tourists should avoid in Delhi.

People from many countries come over to explore Delhi and go back with happy memories. However, it was not a happy excursion for a woman tourist from Singapore who visited the national capital with her friend. Recently, a travel vlogger from Singapore took to Instagram to share a video of their ugly experience in Delhi. The vlogger shared three tips that tourists should avoid in Delhi. The video has left the internet worried after recounting her unpleasant experience.

In the video, the vlogger listed three things to avoid in Delhi. First, she shared, “Do not take a taxi in the middle of the night.” While sharing her experience in the video, she said, “We arrived at night and took a taxi since we couldn’t get an Uber from the airport. The driver asked for 200 rupees more at the end of the trip, even though it was a pre-paid taxi, and dropped us at a different location.” Second, she shared, “Do not give your contact number to a rickshaw driver.” She stated, “When we visited Jama Masjid, we met a rickshaw driver and gave him our number, we spent quite some time with him, thinking we should pay him around Rs 1000, which is double the price of an Uber. But he demanded Rs 6000.” While sharing the third tip, the vlogger stated, “Do not bring only a credit card instead of cash. Cash is more common in India than credit cards. When it comes to street vendors cash is always preferred.” The video was shared on an Instagram account @travelswithsyl.
