A fan page recently blended Taylor Swift's stage walk from Sweden’s performance with Aditi Rao Hydari's viral walk from Heeramandi.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi on Netflix has become a global sensation, as the show, based on the lives of courtesans, is breaking viewership records. Among its highlights, Aditi Rao Hydari’s stunning Gaja Gamini has set the internet on fire. A snippet of her performance went viral and since then, numerous content creators and social media users have recreated the walk. In an interesting turn of events, a clip of Taylor Swift’s iconic Eras tour has caught the attention of Indian Swifties, as a fan page recently blended Swift’s stage presence with Hydari’s viral walk. Swifties have been going gaga over the clip, as the user perfectly merged the music from Heeramandi with Swift’s performance. Many are now imagining Swift wearing traditional Indian attire, while showing the iconic walk for her Indian fanbase.

In the clip, Swift, who recently performed in Sweden, turns around and walks slowly with her back facing the audience. Her slow walk caught the attention of Indian Swifties, who compared it with Hydari’s famous walk as Bibbojaan in the series. Since the clip went viral, it has garnered over 7 Lakh views on the platform and received tons of excited comments from Taylor’s fanbase. Sharing the video, the page wrote, “Queen does everything better.”

Reacting to the clip, a user wrote, “Taylorjaan from Eraamandii.”

Another suggested, “Someone make mother wear a lehenga please.”

An individual shared, “Taylorjaan,” while another added, “Taylor (SLB ‘s version).”

“Taylor Jaan will kill the sabyasachi lehenga,” a comment read.

Another wrote, “Imagine she is actually doing it for us Indians.”

A user added, “Even Her legs are brighter than my future, it’s shining my gosh.”

In an earlier interview with Zoom, Aditi Rao Hydari spoke about her Heeramandi walk and shared, “I know in Kathak there is Mayur chaal, then there is Gaja Gamini, but I am sure it is in all the dance forms. But, I don’t know, I should find out. Whatever I see on Instagram, reel upon reel, the whole viral nature of that tukda is so overwhelming. He (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) is very good at spotting magic on the spot and he created a lot of nuances in the process. He said that he wanted that dupatta to fall on a particular beat, the head to turn and the ‘chann‘ to come exactly on the beat, so it was all his thought and his creation.”

“Also, when I had put on the ghagra, Sanjay Sir told me that I had put on weight. I asked him to give me 10 days since it was post COVID. He said, ‘No you look beautiful. Let’s shoot.’ I really value that. That’s why I say he is an incredible teacher,” she added.

Other than Aditi Rao Hydari, Heeramandi also features, Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Richa Chadha, Taha Shah Badusha, Farida Jalal, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman.
