The woman, identified as Saumya Pandey (@saumyapandey.03), is seen performing energetically in a red saree, drawing inspiration from famous Pushpa mannerism by South Indian actor Allu Arjun.

Despite the video amassing over 31 million views, 556,000 likes, and an equal number of shares, it has attracted over 41,000 mostly hateful comments regarding her actions during pregnancy.

Viewers expressed concerns about her health and that of her unborn child, suggesting she should prioritise her child’s welfare over creating viral content. A user named Sujit Nishad criticised her for not considering her child’s health first, while another user, Ravi, commented on her commitment to her role regardless of her condition.

Responding to the backlash, Saumya defended her decision to dance, stating that her doctors had cleared her to continue her usual physical activities. She expressed gratitude for the positive feedback but dismissed the negative comments. Saumya’s response became a huge controversy, with many suggesting the importance of taking extra care during pregnancy. The controversial video was recorded on March 7, before Saumya gave birth to her child.
