Fan Who Climbed Tree During Team India’s Parade Recorded This Video And Kohli Noticed Him
During the procession, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were drawn to a particularly excited fan.

The madness that erupted on July 4 during Team India’s triumphant march from Mumbai’s Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium wasn’t limited to the streets. Guess what? One crazy fan climbed a tree to get a close-up look at his idols. After winning the T20 World Cup on June 29, the Indian cricket team returned to India on Thursday. They spent the first half of the day meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and having breakfast with him in Delhi, before landing in Mumbai.

The open-bus show, which was supposed to begin at 5 pm, began late. But once it did, the triumph parade was electrifying to see as lakhs of people poured out to welcome and celebrate the newly crowned world champions’ homecoming.

Even as the players revelled in the pleasure, love and adoration, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and others were taken aback when they noticed a fan stationed on a tree, capturing videos of them.

Virat Kohli was one of the first to notice the person and he immediately brought it to Ravindra Jadeja’s attention, who was standing nearby. Axar Patel, who also noticed the man on the tree, began laughing along with Kohli and Jadeja.

According to the caption of the video, the clip was recorded by an enthusiastic fan who had climbed a tree to see his favourite stars. “The video that was recorded by a guy who was on a tree, Virat was the first one to notice,” read the note.

Within a few hours of being shared, the video has amassed over 80,000 views. Several fans were quick to react and share their comments.

One user wrote, “I want the whole video.”

Another commented, “Petition to auction the clip.”

“Hahahaha that’s cool,” a user on X wrote.

In another video, Virat Kohli can be seen amusingly pointing out to Rohit Sharma the fan perched atop the tree, which causes the India captain to respond in kind. Rohit quickly requested the man to get down but he refused, leaving Kohli in splits. The video has gone viral, becoming an immediate hit.

Following the parade, the Indian team arrived at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya led the squad in a victory lap, holding the T20 World Cup trophy and adding to the joyful atmosphere.
