Anand Mishra, Ex-IPS officer from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, has recently made a decision to step down from his prestigious post. He shared, “Living a productively stress free life is about setting small goals in life. Don’t think at once to climb the Himalayas. When these small goals are achieved, they give you confidence. And always remember that when you have to reach the top, never think that you climbed directly. To reach the top, you climb each step. Each step is your small goal. Every little effort contributes significantly to the big result. So, after every small effort, don’t think, ‘I didn’t get any result.’ You won’t even realize that the big result comes from these small steps. So, respect that, ‘small tasks, small results, small accomplishments.’ Keep setting such targets and move forward.”
