Delhi's 'Spiderman' Caught In Police Web Again, This Time For Riding On Car's Bonnet | Video Goes Viral

The Delhi police took action against a 20-year-old man, who was dressed as ‘Spiderman’ and was spotted sitting on a car’s bonnet in Delhi’s Dwarka area.

The man was accompanied by a 19-year old Gaurav Singh, who was allegedly driving the car. The police imposed a fine of Rs 26,000 for dangerous driving and other violations, in connection to the case.

Police said that they received a complaint on social media platform X about a Scorpio car that was seen on Dwarka roads with a person dressed as Spiderman on its bonnet. Upon receiving the complaint, the officials took necessary action.

The car and it’s occupants were traced near Ramphal Chowk, Dwarka. The person in the Spiderman costume was identified as Aditya (20), a resident of Najafgarh and the driver of the vehicle was identified as Gaurav Singh (19), a resident of Mahavir Enclave, a senior police officer said.

The owner and driver of the vehicle have been prosecuted for dangerous driving, driving without a pollution certificate, and not wearing a seat belt, with a possible maximum fine of Rs 26,000 and/or imprisonment or both, the officer added.

The Delhi Traffic Police reiterates its commitment to ensuring road safety for all citizens. Such reckless behaviour on the roads will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against offenders to uphold the law and protect the lives of road users, they said.

He further said, “We urges citizens to report any instances of dangerous driving or traffic violations promptly. Public cooperation is vital in maintaining road safety and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic in the city.”

Few months back, the same man was arrested along with his partner for performing stunts on a motorcycle dressed as superheroes — Spiderman and Spider-Woman — on the streets of Dwarka.

Notably, the “Spiderman couple”, as described by the Delhi Police, were also seen riding the bike without Helmets.

Aditya and his friend Anjali recorded an Instagram reel of themselves riding on the bike, titled “Spiderman Najafgarh Part 5”. In the video, the “Spider-Woman” can be seen walking out of a metro station to her Spiderman friend. Following this, the two shake hands. Soon the Spiderwomen climbs on the bike and the couple goes for a ride on the streets of Delhi.

The 20-year-old Najafgarh resident also runs an Instagram account called Indian Spidey Official, where he usually posts videos of his “stunts”.
