In a recent road rage incident in Bengaluru, a group of men attacked a car near the Sarjapur area, alleging extortion. A video of the incident surfaced on social media, showcasing how the distressed car passengers refrained from opening their windows when surrounded by a few men on two-wheelers. The viral video, shared on Instagram, documented the event on January 7th around 7:30 p.m. at Attibele Road.

The incident began with a man blocking the car captured in the video. As the car stopped, other men arrived with their two-wheelers, positioning them in front to obstruct further movement. The passengers behind the camera could be heard panicking and urging each other to call the police. Meanwhile, the men outside thumped on the car windows. In heightened panic, the driver proceeded to drive, colliding with a vehicle in the front but carrying it along.

Relieved at having escaped, one passenger noticed the dragged vehicle beneath them. The driver promptly reversed, freeing the two-wheeler, and then drove away.

Despite the comment section being disabled, the video garnered over 5.8 million views on the photo-sharing platform.

Unfortunately, this incident is part of the growing number of road rage cases in Bengaluru. In a previous incident captured on video, a man in Bengaluru traffic displayed intense rage towards another driver. The viral video showed the enraged individual on a two-wheeler aggressively approaching a car, banging on the driver’s window, and ultimately smashing the windshield with a rock before fleeing the scene. Bernard Mascarenhas, who recorded the incident, shared it on Instagram, revealing that it took place on November 22 around 8:30 p.m. near the Horamavu Bridge.
