A content creator gave Tauba Tauba song a 90s twist and the fresh rendition has won praise from Vicky Kaushal himself.

Vicky Kaushal is taking social media by storm with his dance moves in the song Tauba Tauba from his upcoming movie, Bad Newz. The catchy beats mixed with Bosco Martis’ energetic choreography have inspired countless Instagram users to recreate the dance steps. Bollywood stars like Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif also praised Vicky’s energetic performance and confidence in the music video. The excitement around the song doesn’t stop there. A content creator, who previously reimagined Shah Rukh Khan’s Lutt Putt Gaya in Mohammed Rafi’s voice, has now given Tauba Tauba a 90s twist. This fresh rendition has not only delighted social media users but has also won praise from the Uri star himself.

Inspired by the music and visuals of the hit song Chaiyya Chaiyya, the content creator duo has given the new song a creative makeover using AI technology. The recreated version features Sukhwinder Singh’s evergreen voice and composed by the iconic AR Rahman, which brought a nostalgic feel to the modern hit. Sharing the video on Instagram, the creator wrote, “If Tauba Tauba was sung by Sukhwinder Singh & composed by sir AR Rahman.”

Reacting to Tauba Tauba’s 90s version, Vicky Kaushal called the song, “BANGER,” while the original singer, composer and lyricist Karan Aujla complimented the song by sharing a fire emoji.

Comedian Zakir Khan wrote, “Bahut sunder (Very beautiful).”

Another asked, “Need this on Spotify asap.”

“That’s absolutely incredible,” a comment read.

An individual shared, “Full song chahiye.”

One more added, “Loving this more than the original.”

Earlier, revealing wife, actress Katrina Kaif’s reaction to Tauba Tauba dance, Vicky Kaushal in an interview with Times Now said, “She keeps saying is, ‘I love to see you dance in real life because you get carried away and that’s wonderful to see. Because you are just enjoying it.’ I don’t care about people around me when I am dancing because that’s my expression of happiness. But that doesn’t necessarily work when the camera is on. For films, usme thoda kitna control karna hai, kab dena hai and all. She gets into technicalities. Isme she was very happy because there’s rhythm to it. There’s a swag to it. Coolness to it. But credit goes to Bosco sir for this. It was not just the dancing. I was very happy that finally.”

Directed by Anand Tiwari, other than Vicky Kaushal, Bad Newz also stars Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. The movie is scheduled to release on July 19.
