Abu Dhabi Becomes Next Target For Coldplay Fans After Mumbai Chaos? Here's The Catch
Fans are encountering the same challenges as Mumbai while trying to purchase tickets for Coldplay's UAE concert.

Coldplay is scheduled to perform in Abu Dhabi on January 11, 12, and 14, 2025. Given the high demand and the addition of multiple dates, it’s evident that fans from India and other regions are keen to attend. This has sparked debate about whether ‘all of India’ shall be attending the concert, given that many Indian fans are seeking to book tickets across various platforms.

Fans have faced similar challenges while purchasing tickets for Coldplay’s UAE concert, echoing the issues experienced during the Mumbai ticket sales. Many have complained about the slow-loading Ticketmaster site and frequent crashes while trying to secure seats. TV personality Nikhil Chinappa voiced his frustration on social media, sharing his disappointment after failing to complete his purchase despite being next in line.

Chinappa’s X post read, “Not sure what happened here @ticketmaster (sic). The screen went from “your turn to buy,” to a static screen of the stadium graphic.”

A user shared the same frustration stating, “Same issue, looks like ticket master messed up their redirecting links big time. Yet another disappointing ticket booking experience.”

Another user said, “Looks like the mumbai Book my show mafia have now captured AUH @coldplay (sic) scene haha. Damn that must feel crappy. Indians will rule the world.”

Most of the comments read “Same here.”

Meanwhile, a user posted on X asking, “Is all of India coming to Coldplay’s concert in Abu Dhabi??”

Last week, thousands of fans hoping to secure tickets for Coldplay’s Mumbai concert were left disappointed after many flocked to BookMyShow, only to be turned away. However, there’s still a good chance to see Coldplay live.

The band is set to perform in Abu Dhabi on January 11, 2025, at Zayed Sports City Stadium. A ticket presale began on September 25 for those who registered on the band’s official website by September 23, allowing fans to purchase up to four tickets. For those who missed the presale, the general sale starts on September 27, offering another opportunity to snag tickets through the band’s website.

During the initial sale of tickets for Coldplay’s Mumbai concert conducted on September 22 through BookMyShow, ticket costs were set between Rs 2,500 and Rs 35,000. As of now, resale prices stand at a heftier Rs 29,418 for the least of tickets being sold on Viagogo.
