Is Imlie Fame Adrija Roy Part Of Kundali Bhagya After Sana Sayyad’s Exit?

The popular Zee TV daily soap Kundali Bhagya is about to undergo a big change. The show, which originally starred Shraddha Arya, Dheeraj Dhoopar and Manit Joura, had moved on to new characters. Paras Kalnawat, Sana Sayyad and Baseer Ali took over as the second-generation leads. However, rumours are rife that Kundali Bhagya is about to take another jump and introduce new faces. As per the latest reports, Imlie fame Adrija Roy may be cast as the lead actress in the new generation.

According to sources quoted by Pinkvilla, Adrija Roy is in talks to star opposite Paras Kalnawat in Kundali Bhagya. The source stated that Adrija has completed a mock shoot with Paras Kalnawat, and the producers are happy with her performance. Reportedly, if all goes well, Adrija could be roped in for the show.

Adrija won the audience’s heart with her show Imlie on Star Plus, which is soon going to go off air. She was paired opposite Sai Ketan Rao. The actress recently shared a heartfelt note summarising her experience on the show. She wrote, “And it’s a wrap!! It has been such an unforgettable journey… I can write a book on this…Amidst the most impactful learning experiences of my life till date, working with and learning from our director Ashish Shrivastava sir will always remain one of the most important experiences. I can’t thank enough to express my regards, gratitude and love.” Adrija has been on various television shows in the Bengali entertainment industry. She made her Hindi TV debut with Durga Aur Charu and then, was roped in as the lead in Imlie.

Meanwhile, the Pinkvilla report suggests that Sana Sayyad decided to quit the show after announcing her pregnancy. Following her decision to quit the show, the producers decided to replace her character and shortlisted Marathi actress Akshaya Gaurav. However, reportedly, the makers did not go ahead with it. Furthermore, it is reported that Baseer Ali and Shraddha Arya may also leave the show. On the other hand, lead actor Paras Kalnawat will remain in the serial.
