The OnePlus 6T has been quite a popular handset and keeping its reputation of delivering timely updates, the company has released a new OxygenOS update with version 9.0.11.
The latest update arrives just a couple of weeks after the OxygenOS 9.0.10 update was released. The new update has pretty much the same changelog as the previous update, including improved Wi-Fi stability, face unlock and Nightscape performance and an update for the December Android security patch. Users shouldn’t expect any changes in the software as this is mostly a stability update to squash bugs.
It is also being reported that user of the OnePlus 3 and 3T could finally get Android 9.0 Pie. Both the handsets have been spotted on Geekbench’s website running on the latest update from Google. Assumingly, the update should arrive for both the handsets at the same time as it was for the OnePlus 5 and 5T.
The company hasn’t officially announced a timeframe for the update rollout, but if all goes well we could see it arrive in a month or two. It is also possible that the listing on Geekbench was an unofficial update and possibly a custom ROM, so let’s just keep our fingers crossed shall we?
