New Delhi: Microsoft wants you to have a ‘hassle-free Internet access’ wherever you go. For that, the software giant is working on a new cross-platform service that offers WiFi.

Called Microsoft WiFi, the new service is said to bring easy WiFi to millions around the world.

According to The Verge, the service will work through dedicated apps on iOS, Android, OS X, and Windows and WiFi will be provided through a variety of hotspot providers.

However, Microsoft WiFi won’t be available for free at the time of its launch and users might be required to pay Skype WiFi subscribers, work at organizers using Microsoft Office 365 for Enterprise, or use a special WiFi offer from Microsoft.

Although a Microsoft representative has confirmed that the company is working on the said service, an official announcement is yet to be made about further details.
