New Delhi: Latest revelations about Apple’s plans for its next line of iPhones hint to a third variant that will be smaller in size and have a metal casing.
Earlier speculations indicated that the tech giant is working on a 4.7-inch model, called iPhone 6s and a 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus.
However, if latest rumours are to be believed, the third variant will be a take on the iPhone 5c with a 4-inch display, but use metal instead of a plastic casing.
A report on Business Insider notes that other than the purported iPhone 6c being smaller in size and in metal casing, analysts at Jefferies are also predicting a launch in the first quarter of 2016 rather than the usual September release.
The purported iPhone 6c, if released, would come with the latest iOS 9.
