Dropbox's Doc Editor Paper Goes Mobile
Dropbox Paper launches on desktop and mobile.

Document editing app Paper is adding Android and iOS to its web-based quiver. Cloud storage company Dropbox is expanding its retinue of collaborative tools with Dropbox Paper.

It's going public with not only Paper's original web client but also an Android app available worldwide and an iOS app which is coming soon for users in the EU, the company says. The app is designed for simplicity, accessibility and flexibility, allowing multiple users to work on and share the same documents.

Checklists, notetaking, to-do lists, and idea inspiration sessions are some of the suggested purposes, alongside more straightforward formal document creation uses.

As TechCrunch observes, the web and mobile app now enters a space already host to other apps like Box, Microsoft Office 365, Google Docs, and Quip, which was snapped up by Salesforce for $750m just a few days previous.
