In what could be the most real-like rendition through the use of CGI or Computer Generated Imagery, this is Saya, a computer-generated Japanese schoolgirl which has been created by a husband-wife duo who work as freelance 3D artists in Tokyo.
For Teruyuki and Yuki Ishikawa, who created Saya in their spare time, the hardest part was getting the skin texture right. While that has been achieved well, the artists feel the hair is not up to their expectationsm, Spoon and Tamago notes.
A counterpart to Saya is also in development and both of them will be cast in the artists' self-produced film.
