New Delhi: Acer has rolled out its latest Acer Chromebase desktop that is based on Google's Chrome operating system. It is the industry's first all-in-one Chrome OS desktop with a touchscreen.
The Acer Chromebase features a 21.5-inch 1080p full HD display and as the device is VESA-compliant, it offers a flexible 178-degree viewing angle. It incorporates 10-point touch technology and is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra K1 quad-core processor that keeps the device quiet even when running heavy workloads.
It comes with an in-built HD camera and further offers two 3W audio speakers, HDMI output, USB, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity option. Acer says that the device boots up in 10 seconds and has multi-layer security in-built with automatic system updates.
The device comes with a complimentary 100 GB of Google Drive storage. It will be available in North American and Asia Pacific markets in Q2.
