On Sunday, Rao had ruled out any further compromise on the Telangana demand.
New Delhi: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K Chandrashekhar Rao has brought the agitation in Andhra Pradesh to the national capital, stepping up pressure on the Centre for the creation of the separate state.
Rao is likely to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over the issue on Monday, a day after he sat on a token fast at Rajghat on Gandhi Jayanti.
On Sunday, Rao had ruled out any further compromise on the Telangana demand.
Meanwhile, the Telangana agitation, now in its 21st day, has crippled normal life in Andhra Pradesh.
The Central government has been buying time saying the issue is a complex one and needs detailed discussion.
